Job description

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Verification Engineer focused on SoC and IP validation to support the verification of intricate IP blocks and system-on-chip designs. The position centers on building reliable verification setups and helping ensure ASIC functionality is thoroughly validated.

What you'll do

  • Interpret digital design requirements for multiple IP blocks and SoC architectures.
  • Prepare detailed test plans at both module and system levels based on functional design specifications.
  • Build ASIC verification infrastructure, including stimulus generation, checkers, assertions, monitors, and scoreboards.
  • Design directed and constrained-random verification scenarios and execute simulations with EDA tools to confirm functional behavior.
  • Carry out verification activities such as design bring-up, DV bring-up, and regression setup for all required features.
  • Collaborate closely with digital design engineers to analyze failures, troubleshoot test cases, and confirm design correctness.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and deliver outcomes on schedule.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of hands-on experience in SoC/IP verification.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and documentation abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across teams.
  • Solid background in VLSI functional verification, ideally on complex, high-speed custom VLSI products.
  • Proficiency with hardware verification languages and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Deep working knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM, and Python; exposure to TCL or Perl is a plus.
  • Clear understanding of ASIC verification methods, tools, and end-to-end development flow.

Preferred background

  • Prior experience with Ethernet L2/L3 switch/router verification.
  • Exposure to SoC verification, AMBA buses, and high-speed I/O standards such as USB 2.0/3.0/4.0, PCIe Gen2/3/4/5, MIPI CSI-2/DSI-2, SATA, flash controllers, CPU peripherals, and system controllers.
  • Experience in automotive, IoT, or video-related product domains is advantageous.

Location

Singapore.
