Job description
Role overview
This opportunity is being shared for a partner organization, which will handle all applications and the remaining hiring stages. The team is seeking a Senior Creative QA Specialist located in Ireland.
In this role, quality is treated as a foundational function, not just a last-minute check. You would be the first dedicated QA specialist, setting up the structure, consistency, and discipline needed across all outgoing creative work. Your scope would include copy decks, ad scripts, static assets, and video content, making sure every piece is fully polished and ready before it reaches clients or advertising channels.
The position sits at the point where accuracy and creativity meet. Even small mistakes can affect brand credibility and compliance, so you would act as a central review point across several teams in a fast-moving, high-volume environment. Over time, the aim is to turn QA from an individual task into a scalable system used across the agency.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of final quality checks for all outgoing creative deliverables, including written copy, scripts, captions, static ads, and video assets before client handoff or publication.
- Verify that every asset aligns with brand standards, platform rules, and applicable regulatory expectations.
- Create and keep up-to-date QA infrastructure such as checklists, SOPs, review templates, and pre-release validation workflows.
- Design and oversee layered compliance controls for clients, especially in tightly regulated categories such as pet health and supplements.
- Maintain claim libraries, approved language references, and prohibited-terms lists for important accounts.
- Work closely with creative, strategy, account management, and project management teams to catch and prevent issues early.
- Monitor repeated mistakes, surface patterns, and recommend process changes that reduce rework and improve consistency.
- Help prepare the QA function for growth by contributing to future coaching, onboarding, and quality-support frameworks.
Requirements
- Background in QA, proofreading, compliance, or editorial work within an agency, regulated sector, or high-output creative environment.
- Strong grasp of compliance expectations in regulated spaces such as FDA, FTC, supplements, pet health, or finance.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to assess consistency across several client brands at once.
- Working knowledge of advertising platform requirements for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and similar creative formats.
- Proven ability to create structured workflows from the ground up, including SOPs, checklists, and review systems.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Clear communication skills and a constructive, collaborative approach to feedback and issue resolution.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple priority accounts in parallel.
- Bonus points for experience in copywriting, editorial work, tone-of-voice development, or onboarding junior QA staff.
Perks and benefits
- 100% remote arrangement with the freedom to work from almost anywhere.
- Flexible hours, with performance measured by outcomes instead of fixed schedules.
- Unlimited paid leave, including sick leave, to support rest and balance.
- The chance to establish and shape a core QA function in a growing organization.
- Exposure to high-profile, top-tier clients and complex creative work.
- Strong autonomy with room to influence processes, standards, and long-term QA direction.
- A collaborative, performance-led culture with open communication and quick decisions.
