Role Overview
A major manufacturing business in Jeddah is hiring a Senior Contracts Specialist to support its Supply Chain function. This position is suited to a Saudi professional who has 3 to 7 years of hands-on contract management experience and wants to grow within a fast-moving industrial setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end contract process, including tender support, document drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, amendments, extensions, and final closure.
- Draft, assess, and negotiate a range of commercial documents such as supplier agreements, service contracts, procurement contracts, and purchase agreements.
- Back procurement and sourcing efforts by shaping contract structures and commercial terms.
- Make sure all contracts follow internal policies and the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Spot contract-related exposure and suggest practical ways to reduce risk.
- Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and legal advisors during the contracting workflow.
- Keep contract files organized, track important dates and deliverables, and ensure renewals happen on time.
- Contribute to process enhancements and continuous improvement across contract management activities.
Required Profile
- Must be Saudi.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Brings 3 to 7 years of relevant contract experience.
- Has a solid grasp of contract drafting, negotiation, tendering, procurement, and supplier coordination.
- Demonstrates strong analytical ability, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
- Can communicate professionally in English.
Preferred Credentials
- Professional qualifications such as WCC, CIPS, CPCM, CCS, or PMP are advantageous.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or SAP Ariba is preferred.
