Role Summary
The Senior Consultant - GRC will contribute to risk consulting engagements and broader governance, risk, and compliance work. The position involves supporting client delivery, building risk management frameworks, and helping organizations identify, assess, and address risk across different industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering risk consulting assignments while maintaining a high standard of client service and measurable value.
- Support the design and rollout of risk management frameworks, policies, and related procedures.
- Help evaluate client risks, analyze findings, and recommend practical risk mitigation actions.
- Develop risk appetite statements, carry out enterprise risk assessments, and build risk reporting dashboards.
- Contribute to additional advisory work covering governance, internal controls, internal audit, and compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is considered an advantage. Professional certifications such as CRM, FRM, CPA, CFA, CIA, or similar industry credentials are preferred, and ISO 31000 knowledge is a plus. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in risk management consulting, ideally gained in a Big 4 or comparable professional services environment. Exposure to large-scale risk projects, preferably in the GCC, and experience working across multiple industries are important. Background in policy and procedure development, internal control, governance, and compliance projects is also valued.
