Role overview

The Senior Consultant will take charge of delivering business advisory and transaction advisory assignments from start to finish. This position calls for strong ownership of quality, deadlines, and the annual engagement plan, while handling several workstreams at once and supporting both business growth and team capability building.

Core responsibilities

  • Head financial modeling activities for mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring projects.
  • Perform and assess valuation analyses using discounted cash flow, comparable company, and asset-based methods.
  • Oversee financial due diligence assignments, including quality of earnings and working capital reviews.
  • Assist with transaction structuring, covering earn-outs, convertible instruments, and overall deal mechanics.
  • Prepare and scrutinize key client outputs such as information memoranda, valuation reports, and management presentations.
  • Support engagement planning through staffing, scheduling, and allocation of work.
  • Build and monitor work programs, time budgets, and required engagement records.
  • Coordinate due diligence efforts involving legal, financial, and operational advisers.
  • Run several engagements in parallel and update senior leadership on progress and status.
  • Carry out a second review of deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Guide, supervise, and coach Consultants and junior team members across assignments.
  • Assign work clearly and check that execution meets expected standards.
  • Offer constructive feedback, coaching, and performance support to colleagues.
  • Support internal knowledge sharing and the development of team capabilities.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain consistent communication throughout each engagement.
  • Contribute to proposal development, pitch decks, and technical or financial bid submissions.
  • Participate in business development efforts and client-facing discussions.
  • Maintain strong client service levels and respond promptly to client needs.
  • Apply advanced accounting, consulting, and valuation techniques to real client scenarios.
  • Use technology and work tools to improve efficiency and service quality.
  • Follow firm policies, internal procedures, and professional standards at all times.
  • Help improve advisory methods and engagement delivery processes continuously.
  • Work in line with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements, including QFMA, QCB, Companies Law, and DFM/ADX where applicable.

Additional information

This role is based in Doha, Qatar and is an on-site, full-time position.

The job involves active involvement in advisory delivery, quality control, team supervision, and client interaction.
