Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being presented for a partner organization, which will handle the application review and all subsequent hiring stages. The employer is seeking a Senior Community Manager located in the United Arab Emirates.

This is not a conventional community role. The focus is on architecting a broader ecosystem made up of contributors, enterprise clients, partners, and end users, and on defining how these groups connect, collaborate, and create value together.

The position plays a major part in strengthening trust, cohesion, and long-term engagement across a global network that relies on meaningful relationships rather than short-term transactions. The work requires a strategic mindset, analytical thinking, and the ability to design systems that make communities grow in value, loyalty, and connectedness over time.

You will partner closely with senior leaders to spot expansion opportunities, improve ecosystem health, and elevate interactions across different parts of the network. This role is well suited to someone who sees modern community building as the deliberate design of scalable human systems.

Key accountabilities

  • Shape the structure of the ecosystem and determine how users, contributors, clients, and partners interact to generate mutual value.
  • Develop relationship strategies that deepen trust and keep engagement strong across every stakeholder group.
  • Monitor sentiment changes, trust gaps, and ecosystem risks early, then respond with clear and structured communication approaches.
  • Design and improve feedback loops between the community and the product, turning ecosystem insights into practical recommendations for leadership and product teams.
  • Build rituals, recognition mechanisms, and narrative themes that reinforce identity and strengthen a sense of belonging.
  • Assist strategic growth efforts by assessing new segments and markets through a community and network perspective.
  • Work with leadership to increase ecosystem resilience, reduce fragmentation, and improve long-term retention and loyalty across stakeholders.

Required profile

  • 6 to 10+ years of experience in community management, ecosystem leadership, or network-oriented roles.
  • Hands-on exposure to multi-sided platforms such as marketplaces, SaaS ecosystems, or distributed networks.
  • Strong relationship-building ability across varied audiences, including enterprise stakeholders and grassroots communities.
  • Strategic understanding of network effects and how ecosystems evolve and scale.
  • Comfort working with engagement, retention, and ecosystem health data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively at both executive and community levels.
  • Experience turning community feedback into strategic or product decisions.
  • Self-directed work style with a high level of ownership in complex environments.
  • Strong emotional intelligence paired with structured, systems-based thinking.

Benefits and work environment

  • Compensation aligned with experience and market expectations.
  • A flexible, remote-friendly setup.
  • The chance to shape a high-impact global ecosystem.
  • Considerable ownership and influence over strategic decisions.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven, and intellectually engaging workplace.
  • Exposure to international, multi-stakeholder network dynamics.
  • Career progression in a senior community and ecosystem leadership position.
  • Direct impact on product direction, strategy, and organizational priorities.
