Role Overview

The Senior Client Success Manager at OuterBox is responsible for championing a portfolio of clients and helping ensure their initiatives succeed. In this role, you will act as the main day-to-day contact for clients, guide them with strategic recommendations, coordinate execution across internal teams, and look for ways to expand account value through thoughtful upsell and cross-sell opportunities. The position also calls for using data to improve performance, strengthen service delivery, and keep client satisfaction high.

This position requires a strong grasp of paid digital media, the ability to analyze performance data, and a proven approach to building durable client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with clients and important stakeholders while serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Understand each client’s business objectives, audience, and market environment, then turn that insight into tailored strategies using the company’s capabilities.
  • Run recurring performance discussions with clients and internal teams, using data-backed findings and practical recommendations to guide campaign direction.
  • Coordinate closely with internal specialists to connect client needs with full-funnel media plans and deliver cohesive execution.
  • Track campaign performance across channels, spot trends or risks early, and recommend optimizations that improve outcomes.
  • Lead onboarding for new clients so expectations are clear and the relationship starts smoothly.
  • Respond to client questions and challenges with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Work with sales and account teams to find growth opportunities in existing accounts, including meaningful upsell and cross-sell ideas.
  • Keep accurate records of client communication, campaign updates, and decisions in CRM tools to maintain continuity and visibility.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in client strategy management or account management.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a performance media agency.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and improving digital media campaigns.
  • Strong analytical ability and confidence in turning data into decisions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Comfort using digital marketing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Ability to juggle multiple clients and projects at the same time.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.

Benefits

  • Collaborative, upbeat, and team-oriented workplace culture.
  • Competitive base pay.
  • Paid time off that is actively encouraged.
  • Affordable health insurance with low deductibles.
  • Additional benefits such as employer-paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement.
  • Open, approachable leadership that welcomes ideas and feedback.
  • Professional or individual development stipend.
  • Summer Fridays.

Compensation

The stated salary range for this role is $85,000 to $105,000 per year.

Work Location and Authorization

This is a remote position, and candidates must be located in the United States. The employer is not able to sponsor or assume sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Physical Requirements

  • The job is mainly desk-based and involves extended computer use.
  • Some light physical activity may be needed, such as moving equipment or preparing presentation setups.
  • The role requires sustained concentration and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and extended computer usage are expected.
