Team context

The Growth team brings together sales, marketing, and growth strategy to expand Blinq’s reach. The group tells the company’s story to customers, partners, and the wider market, showing how one card share can spark a lasting relationship.

Role impact

This role sits at the heart of how Blinq is perceived externally. The brand has recently been relaunched, the base is strong, and there is significant room to extend it across product, performance, ecommerce, and other touchpoints. A major focus will be making the AI product visually impossible to miss across app experiences, web, paid campaigns, sales materials, social media, video, and real-world events. The role reports to Brand and Product Marketing and works closely with the motion designer, web designer, and product design team.

Key responsibilities

  • Create visual assets that make the product stand out, including UI mockups, App Store visuals, motion storyboards, in-product illustrations, and both abstract and realistic product imagery.
  • Expand the existing brand system into reusable components, templates, and asset libraries that can support scale.
  • Help define how the brand team uses AI tools by creating practical systems and guardrails that keep pace with the company’s speed.
  • Lead photo and video direction for the AI product in authentic real-world usage scenarios and for the NFC product line with a stronger ecommerce and direct-to-consumer angle.
  • Brief and coordinate freelance designers, contractors, and external agencies as creative output grows.
  • Develop performance marketing creative for paid social and search, with an emphasis on fast testing and learning.
  • Produce sales and marketing collateral such as pitch decks, customer PDFs, and presentation materials that are both persuasive and visually polished.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7+ years of brand design experience, ideally with substantial exposure to SaaS products.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong product understanding and the ability to translate software into compelling marketing visuals, both abstract and realistic.
  • Prior experience creating performance advertising creative.
  • Strong command of Figma, working knowledge of Canva, and curiosity about AI-assisted design tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product designers, marketers, and sales stakeholders.
  • Comfort working across varied assignments, from paid ads to shoots to design-system expansion in the same week.
  • Interest in gradually taking on more creative direction while staying hands-on in execution.
  • Experience in fast-moving startup environments where priorities can change quickly.
