Job description

About the role

Ethic is hiring a resourceful, hands-on Product Manager to support the development of its core platform, customer-facing experiences, and internal systems. This position suits a broad-thinking PM who enjoys moving across several product areas, working closely with design and engineering, and delivering polished features in a dynamic fintech setting.

The work spans multiple product streams, with emphasis on values-aligned investing capabilities, platform scalability, reporting improvements, and the overall client journey.

What you'll do

  • Lead product features and initiatives from early discovery and definition all the way through launch and post-launch refinement.
  • Work side by side with Engineering and Design to move roadmap items forward while balancing scope, deadlines, and technical constraints.
  • Collect and interpret user feedback, stakeholder input, and product analytics to shape prioritization and product decisions.
  • Apply both qualitative and quantitative data to assess impact and uncover areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate across Engineering, Design, Client Success, Growth, Sustainability, and Operations to gather requirements and align priorities.
  • Keep partners informed, flag delivery risks early, and maintain alignment throughout the product development cycle.
  • Support the Director of Product, Sustainable Investing on initiatives tied to sustainable and values-aligned investing, including offerings, platform features, internal tools, and related processes.
  • Help advance Ethic’s client platform and internal tooling, with attention to reporting, data presentation, and usability.
  • Ensure delivered features are clear, accurate, and designed with a strong user experience in mind.
  • Convert business needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with Design on user journeys and UX choices, and with Engineering on scalable, maintainable solutions.

What you bring

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, with demonstrated success shipping features against a roadmap.
  • Background building B2C or user-facing products, preferably in fintech or another technology-led environment.
  • Working knowledge of investment or financial products and the core functionality of financial platforms.
  • Strong ability to map user flows and partner on UX decisions even without a formal design background.
  • Experience with at least one product role or project that had a meaningful sustainability component, such as ESG analytics, carbon reporting, sustainable investing, or related social/environmental work.
  • Experience with data-oriented products, reporting functionality, or analytics-based decision-making.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly in new domains and operate across multiple problem spaces.
  • Strong interest in values-aligned and sustainable investing is considered an advantage.
