About the Role
As a Senior Admissions Counselor, you will be the crucial point of contact for prospective learners, responsible for engaging with leads, assessing their needs, and fostering interest in upGrad's educational programs. You will act as the primary bridge between potential students and our Admission Counselors, ensuring a smooth transition to the counseling phase. Your goal is to connect with learners, understand their aspirations, and successfully schedule video counseling sessions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Initiate contact with assigned leads promptly using the auto-dialer system.
- Evaluate leads to determine their interest, specific needs, and eligibility for upGrad's diverse program offerings.
- Cultivate strong relationships, establish credibility, and build trust with leads through effective communication and attentive listening.
- Arrange video counseling sessions with Admission Counselors for all qualified leads.
- Coordinate appointment schedules and ensure seamless communication between leads and Admission Counselors to facilitate the enrollment journey.
- Maintain meticulous records of all lead interactions and subsequent follow-up actions within the CRM system.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve a minimum of 300 minutes of call talk time daily.
- Schedule or book at least 5 video counseling sessions each day.
- Connect with a minimum of 80% of assigned leads on a daily basis.
- Consistently meet and surpass weekly revenue targets.
