About the role
The Senior Account Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering media campaigns from initial setup through to completion. The role involves working closely with the Implementation Director and the CCO to build channel strategies that align with client objectives.
In addition to pre-launch planning, the position includes monitoring campaign quality, managing always-on activity, and continuously assessing performance after go-live to improve results against client goals. The role also carries responsibility for junior to mid-level client relationships, ensuring communication is prompt, issues are handled smoothly, and service expectations are consistently met.
A strong understanding of offline media is essential, along with practical knowledge of digital media to support integrated campaign delivery with the Digital Director and Performance team. The role also requires regular collaboration with internal specialist teams, media owners, and external agency partners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver media campaigns from start to finish.
- Work with internal leadership to shape channel strategies that support client business goals.
- Oversee quality assurance for campaigns and always-on activity.
- Track campaign performance after launch and make improvements where needed.
- Handle day-to-day communication with junior to mid-level clients and respond to queries quickly.
- Support integrated media delivery across offline and digital channels.
- Coordinate effectively with specialist teams, media owners, and external partners.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in media and client management.
- Experience with implementation planning, media fundamentals, and financial understanding.
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation ability.
- Ability to understand the function of different channels and explain the reasoning behind channel choices.
- Excellent time management and project coordination skills with consistent deadline discipline.
