Role summary
This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Account Manager. The person in this role will manage strategic client accounts, protect satisfaction and retention, and drive account growth. The job calls for regular client interaction, a clear understanding of customer needs, and close coordination with internal teams including sales, marketing, operations, and aftersales to deliver solutions on time and at a high standard.
Key responsibilities
The role includes tracking account health, preparing reports and forecasts, spotting upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and assisting with renewals and negotiations. It also involves contributing ideas for process improvements, sharing market intelligence, and helping shape strategies that strengthen the company’s standing in current and emerging markets.
Qualifications and experience
Candidates should bring proven background in account management, key account handling, or client relationship roles, preferably in automotive, consumer goods, or similar sectors. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities are important, along with the ability to earn trust and build durable stakeholder relationships. The position also requires solid sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management skills, with practical use of CRM systems and data-led decision-making. Success in this role depends on effective cross-functional collaboration, strong organization, time management, and the ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities while working independently in a remote setting.
Additional requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent practical experience is also acceptable. English fluency is required. Knowledge of Arabic or other regional languages is considered an advantage. Experience in the Middle East automotive market, or familiarity with dealer and distributor networks, is a plus.
