Overview

Northern News Services is recruiting security services staff for its Yellowknife, Northwest Territories location. The organization is looking for people who want to work in a service-focused, team-oriented environment that emphasizes reliable support for clients.

Open Positions

There are security roles available in Yellowknife, NT. The hiring includes one full-time position and two part-time positions.

Role Details

This opportunity is with the Commissionaires, Northern Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut Division. Prior experience in security or a related field can help, but it is not mandatory. Relevant training will be provided at no cost to selected candidates.

Successful applicants will receive competitive pay and uniforms at no personal expense. Security guard licensing is not required for this role.

Eligibility and Requirements

Applicants must be Canadian citizens, communicate effectively in English, and have basic computer skills. Candidates must also be able to walk patrol routes that include climbing up to four flights of stairs indoors.

A COVID-19 vaccination is required for anyone working at a federal worksite.
