Security Guard

Overview

This role involves overseeing the safety and security of designated premises by monitoring, patrolling, and controlling access. The security guard is critical in preventing unauthorized activities and responding to emergencies to protect both people and property.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol and supervise assigned areas to ensure safety.
• Manage entry to buildings, verifying visitor identities.
• Prevent acts of theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches.
• Identify and report any suspicious behavior or activities.
• Perform routine property inspections for security compliance.
• Prepare detailed daily logs and incident reports.
• Provide assistance to staff, visitors, and emergency responders as required.
• Follow all safety and security protocols diligently.
• Operate and monitor security devices including CCTV cameras, communication radios, and alarms.
