Role Overview
This remote Scrum Master role is with a government services employer and is available to candidates anywhere in the continental United States. The position is focused on supporting Agile delivery at scale, improving team execution, and keeping work moving smoothly across dependencies and risks.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead Agile events such as PI Planning, sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and sprint demos
- Remove obstacles and reduce impediments so the team can stay productive
- Foster open communication and strong collaboration across the team
- Encourage Agile and SAFe practices while driving continuous improvement
- Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies, and escalate issues when needed
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Agile delivery or Scrum leadership
- Experience guiding Agile development teams working on automated application deployments
- Background in large-scale software development and data management efforts
- Strong working knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile delivery methods
- Ability to secure and keep a Government clearance
Preferred Profile
- SAFe Certified Scrum Master (SSM) or an equivalent Agile certification
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Technical exposure or experience with engineering-led software teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related field
- Experience in the healthcare sector
