Role overview
This is a remote position that can only be filled by candidates based in Arizona or North Carolina. It is geared toward supporting product and software development teams in an agile leadership capacity.
The role focuses on promoting scrum values and agile ways of working, coaching teams to improve their delivery practices, facilitating collaboration, and helping remove obstacles that slow progress. The position also contributes to stronger team performance through guidance, motivation, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Apply agile principles and scrum practices to coordinate planning, delivery, and execution of solutions.
- Serve as a communication bridge between external stakeholders and the project team.
- Track progress closely, provide timely feedback, and encourage an environment of learning and agility.
- Run daily team check-ins to review progress, identify blockers, and keep work aligned with goals.
- Conduct regular updates with product stakeholders on project status and milestones.
- Support deadline management while keeping expected outcomes in focus.
- Organize demos and product or system testing activities.
- Strengthen collaboration across the scrum team and remove process impediments.
- Monitor project workflows, deliverables, and financial tracking.
- Prepare and deliver status reports for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of project management experience in an information technology environment, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of such experience.
- Scrum Master certification is required.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite, and MS Visio is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of agile delivery methods, including SAFe, Kanban, and Scrum, is preferred.
