Job description
Overview
This role requires a Scrum Master experienced in managing multiple Agile squads, driving Agile practices, and supporting application delivery in the banking sector. The position is based in San Antonio, TX and involves full-time onsite engagement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 2 to 5 Agile teams comprising 20 to 50 members in total.
- Coordinate with distributed teams located across North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Lead Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
- Coach teams on Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles.
- Promote continuous improvement and conduct Agile maturity assessments.
- Track Agile metrics including Sprint Velocity, Burndown charts, Release Planning, and Lead Time.
Preferred Banking Domain Expertise
- Support delivery of banking applications covering digital banking and lending products.
- Comprehensive understanding of banking business processes and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with retail, commercial, or investment banking applications.
- Familiarity with risk management, compliance, audits, and security standards in banking.
Leadership and Communication
- Exhibit strong leadership through facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including executive leadership and clients.
- Manage multiple teams and concurrent programs successfully.
