This part-time Scheduler opportunity is based in Weston-Super-Mare. The role sits at the centre of communication between clients, residents, and mobile engineers, so it suits someone who enjoys coordinating moving parts, handling day-to-day scheduling challenges, and delivering dependable customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Organise and fine-tune engineers’ diaries so jobs are allocated efficiently and routes are planned in a cost-effective way.
• Serve as a professional and approachable first contact for calls from tenants and housing associations.
• Handle questions and issues raised by clients, residents, and engineers, helping support a first-time fix approach.
• Log work orders, send engineers to site, keep track of outstanding parts, and ensure records and documents are maintained accurately.
• Check in with residents about active jobs and keep clients informed about access arrangements for properties.

What the employer is looking for

• Proven experience in a comparable scheduling position.
• Background in logistics, diary management, administration, or coordinating field-based staff.
• A structured approach to scheduling work and the ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Confident telephone communication skills, along with the ability to capture notes and messages accurately.
• Comfort working with colleagues across different teams to achieve common objectives.
