Role Summary
This full-time remote position involves working across different client locations as a Scaffolder. You will build, adjust, and take down scaffolding systems according to technical drawings, site plans, and safety requirements. The job also includes handling materials, fastening and reinforcing scaffold parts, checking existing structures, and keeping the work area tidy and safe. You will coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades so that access needs are met and work at height can proceed safely. You will also be expected to comply with health and safety rules, raise concerns about hazards quickly, and complete any necessary paperwork or checklists.
Qualifications and Experience
- Practical background in scaffolding, including the ability to erect, alter, and dismantle scaffold structures to recognized industry standards.
- Training and awareness for working at height, along with a solid understanding of safety procedures and risk assessment practices.
- Knowledge of fall protection methods, including proper use of harnesses and related protective equipment.
- Relevant credentials such as CSCS or an equivalent qualification; ability to work in confined spaces where needed.
- Physically fit enough for manual tasks and comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills, with a consistent focus on safe and professional behavior on site.
- Previous experience in scaffolding or the wider construction sector is an advantage, and a full driving licence is also beneficial.
