Role overview
This permanent, full-time position is based at the Flagship Boutique in Yorkville, Toronto, and reports to the Operations Manager. As part of the Heart of House team, the Sales & Stock Support role helps the boutique run smoothly by handling administrative tasks, back-of-house coordination, and supporting the store team while consistently upholding CHANEL’s standards for service, presentation, and collaboration.
Customer service and administrative support
- Build and maintain positive client relationships in person and over the phone by replying quickly and appropriately to internal and external questions, while keeping clients updated when needed.
- Deliver attentive support to colleagues, responding promptly to requests from clients, boutique leadership, and Head Office.
- Assist on the sales floor when required by greeting clients, introducing new collections, and escorting clients to the door in line with CHANEL service expectations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates, managers, other boutiques, and Head Office as needed.
- Prepare packaging materials and support gift wrapping activities when required.
- Record messages accurately and pass them on to Fashion Advisors without delay.
- Help keep team notices, memos, and information boards up to date across work areas and the staff room.
- Protect the confidentiality of company operations and internal matters at all times.
Back-of-house operations
- Support inventory processes such as shipments, transfers, and consolidation of cycle counts.
- Carry out after-sales support tasks.
- Maintain strong inventory control and ensure stock remains organized.
Boutique supplies and workspace care
- Keep back-office areas clean, orderly, and ready for daily use.
- Ensure the cash and wrap stations are properly prepared and fully stocked.
- Prepare packaging and assist with gift wrapping parcels as needed.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 1–3 years of successful experience in retail operations and/or stock-related work.
- Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- A strong customer service mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working across different teams and departments.
- Fluent English; knowledge of a second language is an advantage.

Compensation and benefits
The role offers a competitive base salary of $55,000 per year plus bonus.
