Role overview
This position is focused on building a reliable distribution footprint across the assigned area and driving the sale of HBI brands in the local market. The aim is to support company targets and help position HBI as a leading brand in its categories.
What you will do
- Grow sales and deliver volume targets across the designated on-trade territory.
- Create and sustain productive relationships with customers such as bars, restaurants, hotels, and other on-trade outlets.
- Carry out sales and distribution plans so products remain available and visible in the market.
- Track market movement, competitor activity, and customer behavior to spot opportunities and risks.
- Meet agreed targets for sales, distribution, and execution.
- Make sure promotions, brand activations, and merchandising standards are implemented effectively.
- Gather market insights and share useful updates with management in a timely manner.
- Handle customer accounts, purchase orders, and credit requirements according to company policy.
Experience and fit
- Professionals with 3 to 5 years of sales experience are preferred, ideally from the beverage or FMCG sector.
- Applicants should have a background in building and managing customer relationships.
- Experience working with different customer groups, including retail, hospitality, and distribution channels, is important.
- Strong capability in consultative selling, upselling, closing deals, and using sales analytics tools is required.
- Good teamwork skills and a results-driven mindset are essential.
- Candidates must be able to work independently while contributing effectively to a larger team.
- A commitment to ethical selling and trust-based customer relationships is expected.
