About the Role
This opportunity is for a motivated Sales Representative to join the Cape Town team in a fast-paced outbound sales environment. The role focuses on contacting US business owners directly, identifying potential opportunities, and continuously building a strong pipeline through frequent sales activity. It suits someone who enjoys performance-based work and target-driven goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Place 150 to 200 or more outbound calls each day to prospects in the US
- Speak with decision-makers and assess whether a business opportunity is a fit
- Discover funding requirements and present suitable solutions
- Create and maintain a reliable sales pipeline
- Carry out timely follow-ups to help move opportunities toward conversion
- Consistently achieve and surpass daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
- Keep CRM information updated and accurate
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in outbound sales, telesales, or B2B sales; this position is not intended for customer service backgrounds
- Excellent spoken English with a clear, confident communication style
- Must be permitted to work in South Africa
- Willingness to work from the office
- Availability to work US business hours, either 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- Comfort with high call volumes and frequent rejection is an advantage
- Strong skills in objection handling and persuasive selling are an advantage
- Prior exposure to fintech, business funding, or financial services sales is an advantage
