Sales Merchandiser

About the Role

DB Breweries is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Sales Merchandiser to support grocery retailers across the Waikato region. The role covers Grocery and Traditional Liquor channels, with a strong focus on product compliance, shelf presence, correct stock placement, and making items easy for shoppers to spot.

This is a practical, field-based position where each day will vary. You will work closely with store teams to activate promotions and sales initiatives in-store and help maintain strong product visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Call on Grocery and Traditional Liquor outlets from Huntly through to Te Awamutu.
• Assist store teams with the setup and delivery of promotions and sales campaigns.
• Make sure products are available on shelves and displayed in the right locations.
• Restock merchandise and rotate inventory where needed.
• Develop effective working relationships with store owners, managers, WW leads, and other staff.
• Keep product displays neat, well maintained, and visually appealing.
• Provide everyday support that contributes to stronger sales and better product visibility.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone with a full, clean New Zealand driver licence, a positive approach, and genuine enthusiasm for merchandising and sales. You should be eager to learn, comfortable working independently and on the road, and ideally live in or near Hamilton.

Previous experience of 1–2 years in merchandising or another retail-related position is preferred. The job also requires the ability to handle light physical tasks, including lifting stock and setting up displays.
