Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for major company projects in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on driving direct sales, growing revenue, and strengthening long-term client relationships while delivering a high standard of customer service.
What You Will Do
- Promote and close sales for exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities.
- Reach out to current exhibitors and new leads through phone and in-person sales outreach.
- Meet and surpass revenue targets for assigned products and events based on the sales plan.
- Create and execute strategies to maximize income from booth sales and sponsorship deals.
- Build new business through non-space revenue channels, especially sponsorship.
- Record sales activity, calls, and updates in the database.
- Prepare regular sales progress reports, including revenue performance against targets and activity summaries.
- Track outstanding payments and support the finance team with revenue collection.
- Continuously study the market through online research, customer input, competitor events, and industry networking.
- Understand and support floor plan optimization.
- Work closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to improve the client experience.
- Coordinate with associations and trade bodies.
- Manage agency relationships and support ongoing business development.
- Maintain a strong presence within industry associations and contribute to special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of GCC experience in the exhibitions and events sector.
- Sound knowledge of sales performance metrics.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Comfortable working with databases and maintaining accurate records.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Valid Qatar driving license is required.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is QAR 15,000 to QAR 20,000 per month, plus commission.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Doha, Qatar.
