Job description

Job purpose

This role focuses on promoting and selling elevators, escalators, and vertical transportation solutions to individual customers, businesses, and contractors. The position is also responsible for building long-term client relationships, meeting sales targets, and helping the company grow its market share.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and expand the client database.
  • Visit construction sites, engineering offices, and contracting companies to present the company’s products.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Create quotations and manage negotiations through to closing the sale.
  • Coordinate with technical and engineering teams to ensure the required specifications are aligned.
  • Follow up on contract signing procedures and payment collection in line with company policies.
  • Track project execution and handover to customers, ensuring satisfaction with delivery.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop opportunities for additional sales.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, open opportunities, and market conditions.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends, and suggest actions to improve performance.

Required qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred experience of 1 to 5 years in elevator sales or in construction materials/equipment sales.
  • Good knowledge of elevator types and technical specifications is an added advantage.
  • Strong computer skills, including the use of CRM systems.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

  • Goal-oriented sales mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Time management and field-visit coordination.

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Number of new customers acquired.
  • Conversion rate of sales opportunities into signed contracts.

  • Timely collection of receivables.

Work scope

The role combines field and office work. It requires continuous interaction with contractors, property developers, consultancy firms, and end customers. Travel within the city or region may be required based on business needs.
