About the Role

Qatar Living is hiring a motivated, target-oriented Sales Executive to support the growth of its advertising and e-commerce operations across multiple marketplace segments, including Properties, Classifieds & Services, Vehicles, and other industry-specific advertising categories.

This position is focused on finding new business, strengthening client partnerships, and delivering strong sales outcomes across several verticals. The successful candidate will use sales expertise to increase revenue, attract new advertisers, and improve value for clients within the marketplace ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue fresh business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and similar channels.
  • Research the market to find promising prospects and relevant target sectors.
  • Build a healthy sales funnel by consistently generating leads and qualifying potential clients.
  • Create and execute sales approaches that help achieve revenue and target goals.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer goals, preferences, and challenges, and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations to win new business.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer questions and concerns.
  • Work with the sales team and management to prepare plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Track performance against targets, review gaps, and take corrective action when needed.
  • Prepare regular sales updates, activity summaries, pipeline reports, and revenue projections.
  • Share ideas and recommendations to improve sales performance and strategy.
  • Gather client content as needed.
  • Support the presentation of client reels and live Facebook or Instagram videos.
  • Coordinate the creation of graphics and branding for client content.
  • Oversee scheduling and posting support with the account support team, including follow-ups, content verification, captions, and profile URLs.
  • Work closely with teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to keep sales efforts aligned with business goals.
  • Join sales meetings, training programs, and conferences to strengthen product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Share best practices and help improve sales processes and team effectiveness.
  • Keep up with market trends, competitor movements, and changing industry conditions.
  • Spot opportunities to improve products or services based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Provide market insights to internal stakeholders to support business decisions.

Requirements

  • At least 3 to 4 years of successful sales experience in e-commerce, ideally within advertising, media, or digital marketing.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Hands-on experience handling client accounts, giving presentations, and closing deals.
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, online payment systems, and social media marketing.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written; Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Comfortable using MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with CRM systems.
  • Good understanding of digital advertising trends and the market landscape in Qatar.
  • Must have a valid QID and transferable sponsorship.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Doha, Qatar.

The role is focused on supporting multiple advertising and marketplace verticals and requires someone who can balance business development, client management, reporting, and content coordination.
