Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Qatar for a Sales Engineer focused on heavy equipment within KEMROC Middle East. The position combines technical understanding with solution-based selling. The selected candidate will identify customer needs, present KEMROC’s excavator attachment range, and recommend the most suitable technical solutions for different construction use cases. The role also includes sales planning, technical guidance, account management, and maintaining a high standard of client service while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will work at the intersection of sales and engineering to support customers and drive revenue.

  • Assess customer requirements and translate them into practical heavy equipment solutions.
  • Promote KEMROC’s excavator attachments and explain their technical and commercial value.
  • Support the sales process through strategy execution, proposal development, and negotiation.
  • Provide technical advice to help clients choose the right equipment for their applications.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with customers.
  • Deliver responsive customer service that supports satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify potential market opportunities and contribute to targeted sales growth.
  • Work with construction-related applications such as trenching, mining, tunneling, and demolition.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should bring sales engineering experience along with a solid grasp of heavy machinery and attachment-based solutions.

  • Demonstrated experience in sales engineering, preferably within heavy equipment or excavator attachment businesses.
  • Background in sales and customer service with the ability to maintain strong client partnerships.
  • Capability to provide technical support and recommend suitable solutions based on client needs.
  • Strong communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and preparing technical/commercial proposals.
  • Ability to identify market potential and turn it into effective sales action.
  • Exposure to construction machinery and applications such as trenching, mining, and demolition is beneficial.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related technical discipline is preferred.
  • English fluency is mandatory; Arabic or German would be an added advantage.
  • Comfort working in an international, target-oriented environment.
