About the Role
We are hiring a seasoned Sales Director to help expand a Consulting & Digital Transformation practice in the airline sector. The ideal candidate will bring a strong new-business focus, deep knowledge of the aviation industry, and a proven ability to create executive-level relationships that lead to commercial growth.
This position centers on identifying and winning new airline clients, shaping solution-led conversations, and presenting consulting and digital transformation offerings to airlines around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new business opportunities in the airline market.
- Develop and oversee a healthy sales funnel across full-service carriers, low-cost carriers, cargo operators, and other aviation partners.
- Present and sell consulting and digital transformation services spanning customer experience, digital commerce, loyalty, operations, data and analytics, AI, cloud, and enterprise transformation.
- Build trusted relationships with airline CXOs and senior leaders across commercial, technology, digital, customer experience, operations, and revenue management functions.
- Own strategic pursuits, including proposal writing, solution shaping, and high-impact executive presentations.
- Strengthen market presence and position the business as a credible advisor in the airline domain.
- Collaborate with consulting, domain, and delivery specialists to design compelling business solutions.
- Maintain strong awareness of aviation market movements, trends, and new technologies.
Experience Required
- At least 10 years of experience in enterprise sales, consulting-led sales, or digital transformation sales.
- Demonstrated success selling into airline organizations.
- Proven history of developing and managing major airline accounts.
- Comfortable engaging senior airline executives and CXOs.
- Solid understanding of airline business operations and functions.
- Background in selling consulting, IT services, digital transformation, data and analytics, cloud, AI, or technology solutions.
- Practical experience in proposal development, solution design, commercial negotiation, and closing deals.
