Role summary
The Sales Coordinator will assist the sales function in managing a high volume of product distribution, with a strong focus on laptops and related IT hardware. The position is responsible for keeping communication clear between vendors, resellers, and internal teams so that sales activity, order flow, and customer service remain efficient and well organized.
Key responsibilities
- Handle sales orders from quotation stage through to delivery, ensuring records are accurate and orders are completed on time.
- Keep track of inventory levels, coordinate with warehouse staff, and help balance stock availability with customer demand.
- Serve as a communication link for suppliers and channel partners by sharing updates on pricing, promotions, and product availability.
- Support quotation preparation, including competitive pricing, volume-based discounts, and conversion using USD exchange rates where needed.
- Prepare regular sales reports covering performance, pending balances, and pipeline progress on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Monitor customer credit arrangements, confirm payroll deductions when relevant, and flag outstanding balances denominated in USD.
- Track loan and credit approval requests, follow up on turnaround times, and escalate cases where approvals are delayed.
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline is required. The ideal candidate will bring 2 to 4 years of experience in IT distribution or sales coordination, along with practical exposure to selling volume products such as laptops, desktops, and printers.
