About the role
The Sales Associate will be part of the Metzingen store team and report to the Store Manager. This position focuses on creating strong customer relationships, increasing sales, maintaining high store standards, and delivering the signature Versace customer experience.
What you will do
- Work with the management team to help achieve sales goals in a strategic way.
- Continuously deepen product and brand knowledge.
- Use effective selling techniques to understand and meet customer needs.
- Look for ways to increase sales across all product categories.
- Support and promote the Retail Excellence Program with both clients and colleagues.
- Build productive relationships with customers, teammates, and managers through clear communication.
- Provide consistently high service levels that match customer expectations.
- Represent the brand and develop relationships with new shoppers and VIP clients.
- Create memorable in-store experiences that strengthen loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Support elevated service before and after the sale to drive results.
- Collect customer information consistently and accurately.
- Take proactive steps to maintain lasting relationships with clients.
- Help organize in-store and promotional events.
- Support the boutique’s community outreach efforts to keep client relationships active.
- Handle stock and backroom processes such as receiving goods, transfers, stock counts, stock placement, and reporting.
- Follow company and operational policies and procedures at all times.
- Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards according to company guidelines and assist with VM setup.
What you need
- At least 2 years of retail experience; experience in luxury retail is preferred.
- Working knowledge of retail sales systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
