Role Overview

Ziker Cleaners is seeking a personable and reliable Customer Service & Sales Associate for its South Bend location. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, staying active, and working in a positive team setting. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour.

What the Job Involves

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers and play a key part in delivering a smooth and friendly experience. You will assist with front counter service, handle transactions, support laundry and garment-care operations, and help maintain an organized and welcoming store.

Key Duties

• Greet customers warmly and deliver high-quality service
• Receive and process garment drop-offs and pickups
• Use the point-of-sale system for sales and transactions
• Accept payments and manage customer accounts as needed
• Support wash, dry, and fold laundry orders
• Promote store services, deals, and seasonal specials
• Respond to customer questions and help resolve issues
• Maintain a clean, neat, and customer-friendly work area
• Reconcile the cash drawer and complete end-of-day closing tasks

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy environment. You should be able to juggle multiple tasks, communicate well with customers, and adapt to a team-focused workplace. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are important.

Preferred Background

Prior experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, food service, or sales/up-selling is preferred.

Schedule Details

This full-time role offers up to 30–35 hours per week. Availability is needed on Monday through Friday for morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, as well as Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Work schedules may change depending on business requirements.

Additional Opportunities

Although you will be assigned a primary store location, there may be occasions to work at other Ziker locations in South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, and Elkhart.
