Role overview
NTT DATA is looking for a Sales Account Manager in Riyadh to help grow business through client account ownership, consultative selling, and cloud-focused solution support. The position centers on building strong client partnerships, coordinating with internal teams, and driving opportunities tied to IT products and AWS-based offerings.
What you will do
In this role, you will act as a dependable contact for assigned customers, understand their business needs, and help shape suitable technology recommendations. You will manage account activity, assist with proposals and negotiations, keep CRM records current, and work with sales, technical, and delivery teams to support a smooth customer journey from first discussion through post-sale follow-up.
Client relationship and account ownership
- Stay in regular touch with assigned customers and coordinate their IT and cloud-related requirements.
- Learn about each client’s business goals, operating model, and challenges so you can recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide post-implementation support, handle concerns quickly, and help maintain customer satisfaction.
- Look for opportunities to grow existing accounts with additional products or services.
- Create and keep account plans updated with objectives, actions, and next steps.
Sales and business growth
- Spot and assess new opportunities within current accounts as well as among potential customers.
- Follow up on leads, prepare proposals, and support discussions that move deals toward closure.
- Keep the sales pipeline accurate, including forecasting details and CRM documentation.
- Work toward assigned revenue targets and performance goals.
- Support client meetings and presentations with the broader sales team.
Solution coordination and support
- Partner with technical and solutions teams to make sure proposed offers match customer needs.
- Help convert client requirements into practical IT and cloud recommendations, including AWS solutions.
- Stay current on the company’s portfolio, new technologies, and market trends so you can share relevant value messages.
- Assist with handoff from sales to delivery teams so expectations are clear and service delivery remains smooth.
Strategy, forecasting, and reporting
- Contribute to sales strategy execution within the assigned market or account base.
- Collect insights on customer industries, competitors, and emerging opportunities for management.
- Take part in planning discussions and suggest ideas that can help account growth.
- Prepare reports and forecasts on sales activity and performance.
- Maintain reliable records in CRM and keep account information up to date.
- Build stronger knowledge of IT and cloud products, especially AWS, through learning and certifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in sales or account management within IT or cloud technology environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies and AWS solutions; AWS certifications are considered an advantage.
- Experience using CRM systems and applying basic data analysis for forecasting and reporting.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building ability.
- Good time management, organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Self-driven, positive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable building and sustaining strong client relationships.
