About the Role
The Kindergartens, based at Mouse House SW18 in London, is seeking a Room Leader for one of its early years settings. The role offers the chance to work in a nurturing environment focused on high-quality care and education for young children.
This is an opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about childcare and wants to contribute meaningfully to children’s early development while growing their own professional skills through training and team support.
Salary
The annual pay range for this position is £30,992 to £37,440.
Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive, high-quality care and learning support for children aged 0 to 5 years.
- Design and run age-appropriate EYFS activities that are engaging and developmentally suitable.
- Maintain a secure, supportive, and welcoming space where children can learn and thrive.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, or another full and relevant early years qualification.
- Prior experience in a nursery or similar childcare environment.
- A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence working collaboratively within a team.
- Paediatric First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Understanding of childcare rules and safeguarding requirements.
