Job description

Overview

This role sits within a piling team working on major infrastructure delivery in Port Talbot, Wales. The business is looking for someone with relevant site experience to support safe and efficient rig operations on a busy project with a strong workload pipeline.

What you will do

  • Guide rig movements so the operator always has clear visual direction.
  • Support the rig operator during piling setup, including position, levels and vertical alignment.
  • Establish and manage exclusion zones around the piling rig.
  • Direct the excavator when operating inside the exclusion area and while spoil is being removed.

Additional duties and experience

  • Support basic rig upkeep, such as refuelling, where needed.
  • Help ensure lifting activities follow the approved lifting plan.

Qualifications
