Role overview
HARIBO International is looking for a Rewards Manager to lead the Asia Pacific rewards agenda from Singapore. This position sits at the center of HR strategy, analytics, and execution, and reports to the HR Director for Asia Pacific. It is an opportunity to build regional rewards capability in a growing business, with a central Singapore workplace, a competitive package, and attractive fringe benefits.
The role is designed for someone who can create structure, shape policy, and support growth across diverse markets in Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region. You will help define frameworks from the ground up, partner with senior leaders, and use data-driven insight to guide important people decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Set and execute the regional rewards direction, including compensation structures, benefit design, and pay philosophy.
- Carry out market benchmarking and compensation analysis to keep pay competitive and fair.
- Create scalable frameworks that can support future expansion across the region.
- Run the annual compensation process, covering budgeting, salary reviews, and pay increases.
- Support business leaders with offers, promotions, and other pay-related decisions.
- Maintain clear governance, equity, and approval controls for reward decisions.
- Track and manage compensation changes during the year with discipline and transparency.
- Design and roll out a performance-based bonus model.
- Own the full bonus cycle and ensure it remains fair and aligned with business performance.
- Oversee payroll activity across multiple countries, with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Lead personnel cost planning and budgeting together with Finance.
- Analyze workforce spend, trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and implement a regional mobility approach.
- Refine and maintain policies related to rewards and compensation.
- Ensure policy governance, monitoring, and compliance across markets.
- Build HR dashboards and analytics for compensation, headcount, and cost tracking.
- Convert data into practical recommendations for leadership.
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities such as pay equity, attrition, and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with HRBPs and business leaders to improve people decisions.
- Contribute to broader HR initiatives in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
- Help strengthen HR capability across the region.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in rewards, compensation, or benefits, preferably within a multinational organization.
- Strong experience working across APAC markets and multi-country structures.
- Demonstrated ability to create frameworks and processes from the ground up.
- Strong analytical ability combined with commercial judgment.
- A practical, collaborative leadership style suited to a lean and fast-moving environment.
- Confidence in influencing senior stakeholders and driving decisions to completion.
