About the Role
For the Erfurt location, Securitas Germany is looking for a security professional to work as a patrol driver. The position is limited to 1 year, with a possibility of becoming permanent. The role is full-time with flexible scheduling and shifts running Monday through Sunday, including public holidays. Shift times are either 07:00 to 19:00 or 19:00 to 07:00.
Responsibilities
- Secure buildings by carrying out opening and closing procedures.
- Inspect sites and monitor objects during patrols.
- Operate alarm systems and other security technology.
- Respond to alarms and assist with elevator rescues if required.
Requirements
- Valid Class B driving licence.
- Good local knowledge of the Erfurt area.
- Basic technical understanding, especially of alarm systems.
- Prior experience in security, ideally in patrol work, is desirable.
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding work.
- Training under Section 34a of the German Trade Regulation Act is desirable; certification under Section 34a is also desirable.
- Resident in Germany for at least 5 years.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Very strong German language skills, spoken and written, at least C1 level.
- No criminal record or relevant entries in the police clearance certificate.
Working Conditions and Additional Information
The role is paid above the applicable collective agreement rate at EUR 16.01 per hour, made up of EUR 15.51 base pay plus EUR 0.50 ATZ. Additional tax-free allowances apply for night work (10%), Sunday work (25%), and nationwide public holidays (50%) according to the BDSW collective agreement.
