TITLE: Revenue Manager

DESCRIPTION:

BookingJini builds cloud-based hotel technology designed to help hospitality businesses improve direct reservations, run operations more efficiently, and create better guest experiences. Its software ecosystem includes tools such as AI-enabled booking engines, channel management, property management systems, CRM features, and related solutions that help hotels reduce dependence on OTAs and grow revenue.

Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Bhubaneswar for a Revenue Manager. The person in this role will study hotel performance data, shape pricing and inventory strategies, and work to improve revenue across multiple distribution channels. The job also involves forecasting revenue, using revenue management systems, partnering with sales, marketing, and operations teams, tracking competitor pricing and market shifts, maintaining compliance with revenue recognition policies, and producing financial as well as performance reports.

  • Experience handling OTAs and understanding how they affect hotel revenue.
  • Practical exposure to hotel revenue management in a real business setting.
  • Background in managing or supporting chain hotels or a portfolio of multiple properties.
  • Good grasp of pricing strategy, OTA performance, and changing market demand.
  • Comfort working with hotel owners, general managers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical ability and a data-led approach for reading market patterns and business performance.
  • Working knowledge of revenue management and revenue recognition practices.
  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, and budget preparation.
  • Ability to review pricing regularly and adjust it to improve margins.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and close attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on use of revenue management systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in hospitality or SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional coordination.
