About the role

The Dubai EDITION in Dubai, UAE is looking for a commercially focused Revenue Manager to take ownership of the hotel’s revenue optimisation approach. The position is centred on improving profitability through pricing strategy, inventory control, forecasting, distribution performance and demand creation across all market segments.

The right candidate will bring strong analytical ability, a solid grasp of luxury hospitality markets and a successful history of improving ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and market share within internationally respected hotel brands.

Key responsibilities

Revenue strategy and commercial performance

  • Create and implement end-to-end revenue strategies designed to strengthen profitability and market share.
  • Manage performance across transient, corporate, group, wholesale, leisure and online revenue channels.
  • Adjust pricing, inventory allocation and distribution decisions in line with demand trends and market conditions.
  • Spot revenue upside and launch tactical actions that improve ADR, RevPAR and occupancy.
  • Lead demand management efforts and keep yield strategies effective.

Forecasting, budgeting and business planning

  • Build reliable revenue forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and strategic planning process.
  • Review results against budget and forecast, then identify variances and corrective measures.
  • Use performance data to recommend ways to improve financial outcomes and profitability.

Market intelligence and competitive analysis

  • Track market movements, competitor actions, local events, seasonality and wider economic factors affecting hotel demand.
  • Carry out regular benchmarking using STR reports and market intelligence tools.
  • Assess the hotel’s positioning and suggest actions to improve market penetration and competitive strength.
  • Identify new trends and commercial opportunities in luxury hospitality.

Distribution and channel optimisation

  • Oversee and improve all distribution channels to increase revenue contribution and overall profitability.
  • Monitor OTA performance, channel mix and the cost of distribution.
  • Protect rate integrity, maintain rate parity and keep inventory accurate across booking platforms.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing and E-Commerce teams to grow online revenue.

Reporting and analytics

  • Prepare detailed revenue performance reports and share strategic insights with hotel leadership.
  • Track core metrics such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, MPI, ARI and RGI.
  • Review booking pace, pickup, cancellation trends and future demand patterns.
  • Present commercial recommendations and business plans to senior management.

Cross-functional leadership

  • Work in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Front Office and Finance teams to support commercial success.
  • Take part in weekly commercial strategy and revenue meetings.
  • Assist with contract reviews, pricing decisions and business development initiatives.
  • Support promotional campaigns, packages and special offer development.

Systems and process excellence

  • Use Revenue Management Systems, CRS, PMS and channel management platforms effectively.
  • Maintain accurate data and system integrity across all revenue-related tools.
  • Follow Marriott brand standards, company policies and revenue management best practices.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a similar field is required.
  • Revenue Management certification is considered a strong advantage.

Experience requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in hotel revenue management is required.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Revenue Manager in a luxury hotel or globally recognised hospitality brand is preferred.
  • Background in lifestyle luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Prior hospitality experience in the GCC or UAE will be an added benefit.
  • Experience with Marriott revenue management and Marriott systems is strongly preferred.
