About the Role

Qatar Airways is hiring a Revenue Management Analyst to join its Revenue Management team in Doha, Qatar. This position focuses on helping maintain a strong and competitive pricing position across selected markets within a regional scope.

The role involves analyzing market conditions and demand drivers to support pricing and inventory decisions that improve revenue, passenger volume, yield, and RASK across assigned point-of-sale markets and routes. The analyst will assess both internal and external factors affecting demand and translate those insights into final pricing and inventory recommendations. The position also includes evaluating capacity requirements, seasonal revenue needs, traffic mix, and the balance between volume and yield to support the targeted revenue and RASK outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply pricing and inventory strategies that drive higher revenue and RASK, while continuously checking whether the chosen approach and fare structure remain effective.
  • Track other airlines’ pricing behavior and put the right benchmark approach in place.
  • Support promotional activity and review pricing business cases proactively.
  • Assess how different fare products and market segments are performing, including TO, VFR, CUG, and student fares, and adjust pricing when needed.
  • Study underperforming origin-and-destination markets and point-of-sale markets, then take revenue-boosting actions.
  • Review optimization settings to ensure leg-level controls reflect market demand as well as company policies and decisions.
  • Work with the Operations Control Centre and Corporate Planning teams to support smooth operations with the right commercial input.
  • Set optimal overbooking levels to reduce lost seat opportunity.
  • Support sponsorship plans for new routes and frequencies.
  • Implement day-of-week strategies to improve cabin mix and yield based on weekly demand patterns.
  • Manage and monitor optimization tactics for peak travel periods, including holidays and special events, using rolling 360-day PTO planning.
  • Apply demand influence and RAAV strategies in line with seasonal demand shifts and week-over-week/year-over-year booking and market share trends.
  • Make sure flight-level forecasts stay aligned with expected demand and booking trends.
  • Coordinate with analysts in contributing point-of-sale markets to align demand and help achieve route targets for RASK, load factor, yield, and revenue.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, along with at least 3 years of experience in an airline or travel agency environment.
  • Prior exposure to Group Desk or Revenue Management work is an advantage.
  • Experience with the PROS Groups system or a Groups Handling Desk is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a solid grasp of revenue management principles are required.
  • Advanced analytical capability and deeper understanding of revenue management concepts are expected.
  • Ability to use data processing and visualization tools such as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
