About the Role
Verizon is looking for a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join its store team in Ashland, OH. This role is focused on helping customers find the right technology and service solutions while building a strong sales career in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. The position is worksite-based and requires onsite presence at the assigned location.

What You Will Do
- Drive retail sales by connecting customers with Verizon products and services through strong customer engagement and knowledge of technology.
- Discover customer needs by asking thoughtful questions and building genuine connections.
- Recommend product and service combinations that create complete solutions for each customer.
- Close sales through clear communication and a consultative approach that makes technology easy to understand.
- Keep building your capabilities through ongoing training, including learning store operations, merchandising, and inventory tasks.
- Reach out to current Verizon customers through outbound calls and text messages to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Represent Verizon at community events outside the store to help grow the customer base.
Compensation
Base pay for this role starts at $16.59 per hour for the listed location. The position is commission-based and can include up to $18,000 per year in individual commissions when sales goals are met. High performers may earn an additional $14,500 or more in commissions, bringing total annual earnings into the $65,000+ to $75,500+ range. Pay can vary based on geography, hours worked, and performance. The role also allows for premium pay in certain situations such as overtime, shift differentials, holiday pay, and allowances.

Schedule and Work Environment
This is a full-time onsite position with a standard 40-hour workweek. Scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, and your schedule will be shared four weeks in advance. The role may also include extra shifts, especially during the summer, from November through December, and during peak vacation periods. Applicants should be comfortable working in a retail setting and participating in off-site customer-facing activities when needed.
