About the role

PUMA is looking for a part-time Retail Sales Associate for its Ottawa store. The role sits in a fast-paced retail environment where the focus is on delivering excellent customer service, supporting sales results, and keeping the store running smoothly in line with brand and service standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently strong in-store customer experience that reflects PUMA’s brand values and service expectations.
  • Help achieve or exceed individual sales, KPI, and profitability goals through effective customer support.
  • Process checkout transactions accurately, efficiently, and securely.
  • Keep the store neat, clean, and organized while following visual merchandising standards.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise processing as required.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, operational standards, and core accountabilities.
  • Support a safe, healthy, and compliant environment for customers and teammates.
  • Be available for non-standard shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; overtime may be required.

Candidate profile

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a customer-facing retail setting, ideally in apparel or footwear.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach.
  • Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to store needs.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with MS Office programs.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.

Compensation and benefits

The base hourly wage for this position is between $17.60 and $20.60, plus benefits. The role includes the part-time benefit package.
