Role overview

Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa is looking for a guest-oriented Reservations Agent to join the revenue team in Fujairah. The position calls for someone who delivers high-quality service, communicates clearly, and supports smooth reservation handling for hotel guests.

What you will do

  • Handle room bookings received by phone, fax, or letter and confirm them accurately.
  • Enter reservation details into the system and keep all related information current.
  • Respond to reservation-related questions, concerns, complaints, and special requests.
  • Stay informed about hotel promotions, room rates, facilities, and reservation procedures.
  • Apply a strong understanding of products, pricing structure, and rate management practices.
  • Keep reservation correspondence organized and prepare reports when requested by the Reservations Manager or Supervisor.
  • Support positive public relations and help drive additional business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate room status information at all times.
  • Answer incoming calls according to hotel standards, process faxed information, and monitor incoming emails regularly.
  • Arrange visa requests for hotel guests in line with hotel policy and identify opportunities to upsell.

Education and experience

A diploma or degree in hospitality is expected, along with prior experience working in hotel reservations. Strong computer skills are required, as well as excellent verbal and written English. Additional languages are considered an advantage.
