Reservation Coordinator | Discover Qatar

About the Role

This position supports Discover Qatar reservations at the FKB property by handling booking confirmations and reservation processing for water-sport activities. The role also includes helping to record sales at the retail outlet, keeping operations smooth, and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service. It contributes to promoting Qatar as a premium tourism destination while supporting the team’s daily execution of procedures and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions promptly and professionally, whether in person, by phone, or through email.
• Coordinate lesson schedules and communicate updates clearly to the wider team.
• Ensure all planned lessons are followed up for confirmation within 24 hours of booking.
• Enter reservations accurately into the VIBE system.
• Collect payments, verify records, and send them to the DQ finance team on a daily basis.
• Track retail stock levels and support the Senior Reservation Officer with monthly reporting and ordering.
• Keep strong product knowledge so customers receive accurate guidance and expert support.
• Address customer concerns and work to resolve complaints effectively.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the department that relate to this role.

Qualifications and Skills

The role calls for strong English communication, familiarity with kitesurfing, confidence using MS Office tools, and prior exposure to reservation systems. Candidates should also be comfortable working in a customer-facing environment and managing daily operational tasks with attention to detail.
