About the Role
This opportunity is for a Research Scientist who can support the training of AI systems. The work centers on applying strong physics knowledge to challenge AI models and assess how well they respond.
Field and Academic Background
You should have expert-level knowledge of physics. A Master’s or PhD that is currently underway, completed, or planned is preferred, though it is not mandatory. Suitable related backgrounds include Astrophysics, Biophysics, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Mathematics.
What You Will Do
- Create advanced physics questions for AI chatbots and review the responses they generate.
- Judge AI model outputs for accuracy, completeness, and overall performance.
Working Arrangement
This is an independent contractor role. You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when to work. The work is done on your own computer and from your own home.
Pay and Payment Details
Compensation starts at $40+ USD per hour, with some projects offering bonus rates. Payment is handled through PayPal, and any currency conversion from USD will be processed by PayPal.
Eligibility
Only candidates based in Australia will be considered.
Additional Notes
No payment or deposit will ever be requested from applicants. This role requires an existing Research Scientist profile or a comparable academic and technical background aligned with physics.
