Job description

About the Role

FVN Research is assembling a focused public markets research group dedicated to rigorous investment work. The initiative centers on disciplined market analysis, quantitative research processes, alpha-focused idea generation, and the production of polished research deliverables across public markets.

What You Will Do

As a Research Analyst, you will contribute to a range of investment research activities, including fundamental analysis, macro and sector review, quantitative signal exploration, backtesting, deal-related insights, and writing research that is ready for publication. The role is designed for people who think carefully, work with structure, and produce high-quality output.

Who This Role Suits

The team is seeking driven students and early-career candidates, ideally with backgrounds in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or similar disciplines. Practical exposure to Python, Excel, valuation, statistics, backtesting, investment writing, or data analysis is helpful, though the strongest indicators are dependability, intellectual honesty, initiative, and a real curiosity about public markets.

Team Culture

This position is part of a compact research team with high standards and a serious, results-oriented approach to work.
