Role overview

Sobeys is seeking a Replenishment Teammate to support grocery operations at its Aberdeen location in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. This role is part of the retail operations team and involves handling stock movement, floor presentation, customer support, and general store upkeep in a professional and timely manner.

Key duties

  • Follow food safety rules, standard operating procedures, health and safety standards, company policies, and related programs.
  • Order, receive, and place merchandise according to inventory control processes as needed.
  • Deliver helpful and efficient customer service.
  • Support sales by promoting featured items and encouraging customer interest.
  • Maintain the back room and sales floor so work areas remain clean, organized, and ready for shoppers.
  • Prepare customer orders when required.
  • Help reduce department shrink when needed.
  • Assist in training newer team members.
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
