Job description

Role overview

Klaviyo is looking for a Renewal Specialist to join its global renewals function in Dublin. This role centers on keeping customer relationships strong, helping clients continue getting value from the platform, and improving renewal outcomes across the Commercial and SMB segments. The position works closely with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal, and other go-to-market teams to support retention, manage renewal execution, and identify expansion opportunities.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple renewals and customer conversations at once.

What you will do

You will own the renewal process for a portfolio of contracted customers and help ensure a smooth, timely, and professional experience throughout each renewal cycle. You will also support retention efforts, participate in pricing and commercial discussions within established guidelines, and act as a voice for the customer internally.

Key focus areas

  • Run end-to-end renewal activity for Commercial and SMB accounts and help secure timely contract completion.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and respond to questions or concerns in a clear, professional way.
  • Work with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal, and other teams to keep renewals moving and spot growth opportunities.
  • Track renewal risk signals, escalate issues early, and support retention strategies with internal partners.
  • Keep forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records accurate and current.
  • Follow established renewal workflows and suggest improvements that make the process more efficient and scalable.
  • Support pricing and negotiation conversations within approved boundaries to help achieve outcomes that work for both the customer and Klaviyo.
  • Share customer feedback and advocate for client needs across internal teams.

What you should bring

Klaviyo is seeking someone with 2 to 5 years of experience in renewals, account management, customer success, sales support, or another customer-facing role, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines are important. The role also calls for analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and comfort using CRM and customer management tools to monitor performance and identify opportunities or risks.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in French or German, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based businesses, or customer lifecycle management.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though a high school diploma or equivalent experience is acceptable.

Compensation and benefits

The stated base pay range for this role in local currency is €62,400 to €93,600 per year. Final compensation depends on skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location. In addition to base pay, the overall package may include an annual cash bonus, variable compensation for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits, subject to eligibility.

A recruiter can share more details about the salary or OTE range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Other details

This position may involve up to 10% travel for new hire onboarding, client or partner work where relevant, team meetings, and industry events. Any travel will be arranged ahead of time.
