Overview
This opportunity is with a fast-expanding renewable energy independent power producer that manages a substantial portfolio of solar PV assets. Due to continued growth, the business is looking for a Renewable Energy Consultant to join the Asset Management function and provide support across contract administration and commercial activities.
The position is practical and varied, and it will suit someone with renewable energy sector experience who wants to build on their career in a growing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and oversee contracts as well as important contractual dates and milestones.
- Work closely with the Asset Management team and on-site operations and maintenance teams on contract-related matters.
- Handle insurance renewals, claims, and associated records.
- Support procurement-related administration and coordination.
- Monitor and bring together revenue sources, including capacity market income and ancillary revenue streams.
- Keep contract files, commercial records, dashboards, and internal reports up to date.
- Make sure key deadlines, obligations, and deliverables are tracked and managed effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in renewable energy, with solar or battery energy storage systems preferred.
- Background in a contractual, commercial, or administrative position.
- Good grasp of contract wording and core contractual principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with different teams.
- Must have the right to live and work in Ireland.
