Role Overview
This position is focused on growing and nurturing premium client relationships. The relationship manager will serve as the primary point of contact for mapped customers, work to strengthen existing accounts, bring in new customers where needed, and expand overall wallet share based on each client’s financial needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle banking and investment relationships while supporting growth across liabilities and investment business for branch and retail customers.
- Build, maintain, and expand client relationships by delivering service that consistently goes beyond expectations.
- Spot existing and prospective relationships with strong revenue potential and work to increase business volume and wallet share.
- Work toward targets covering liabilities, retail assets, business banking, forex, cards, investments, and related products.
- Promote the bank’s full range of consumer and commercial offerings to both current and prospective clients.
- Develop existing relationships and acquire new customers to increase CASA balances within the assigned portfolio.
- Improve product usage and channel adoption to deepen mapped relationships and enhance customer value.
- Monitor portfolio quality through regular client engagement and by maintaining the intended relationship value.
- Act as the client-facing owner responsible for both service quality and sales satisfaction of mapped accounts.
- Assess customer financial requirements and recommend suitable products with full transparency.
- Support fee-based income by selling products such as mutual funds, investments, and insurance.
- Follow bank policies related to acquisition, BSA, KYC, and all applicable regulatory requirements including RBI, SEBI, AMFI, and IRDA guidelines.
