Role Overview
This role is centered on managing and expanding wealth management relationships for private banking clients in Singapore. The position calls for a commercially minded relationship manager who can build trust, identify opportunities, and design suitable financial solutions based on each client’s goals, risk appetite, and overall wealth profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source, develop, and convert opportunities from both new and current clients.
- Build a strong understanding of each client’s business background and how their wealth is generated.
- Manage the full relationship portfolio through active client engagement, risk assessment, and financial planning.
- Act as a dependable advisor for clients who look for guidance on significant financial decisions.
- Keep a clear view of client objectives and risk tolerance so that recommendations remain suitable.
- Support clients in reaching broader investment and wealth-creation objectives.
- Create customized solutions for investment, risk mitigation, and financing or liquidity requirements.
- Organize work effectively to drive revenue growth while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Maintain robust controls and complete administrative and operational tasks with regulatory compliance in mind.
- Explain complex financial products, concepts, and investment strategies clearly and professionally.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on, proven experience in private banking.
- Strong capability in partnership building, client relationship management, and sales.
- Sound knowledge of financial markets and banking or investment products.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound decision-making.
- Resourceful and able to take initiative independently.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to speak Filipino and Hokkien is considered an advantage.
